Shipping and Receiving Clerk
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for all shipping and receiving for both Dart NeuroScience LLC (DNS) and Helicon Therapeutics Inc (HTI). Will be responsible for assisting other departments when needed. DUTIES FOR BOTH DNS AND HTI INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Responsible for all shipping and receiving duties. * Responsible for delivery of all packages. * Responsible for packing slips and maintaining the receiving database. * Responsible for escorting vendors for Hazardous Waste pick up and Supply stocking. * Provide assistance/backup coverage with facilities issues as needed. * Respond to researchers’ needs in a timely manner. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma. Some college work desirable. * Excellent computer skills. * Familiarity with Chemical handling and safety procedures. * Trained and certified for shipping hazardous materials using DOT regulations and preparing the appropriate related documentation. * Familiarity with machines, including autoclave operations, and procedures including safety guidelines. * Must be able to lift and carry heavy packages often, have manual dexterity in both hands, and perform daily job duties that involve bending, kneeling, twisting and turning, and periods of prolonged walking throughout the workday. * Must have the ability to operate safely in work environments involving exposure to potentially harsh cleaning agents and biohazards.
