Precision Inspect B

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Examine and perform non-destructive tests on components using penetrant, eddy current and magnetic particle.
Inspect assigned items including assemblies, subassemblies, electrical, electronic, electromechanical components and finished products. Inspect environmental control products, including fans, valve and air cycle machines, turbine engine assemblies, subassemblies, parts, tools and fixtures. Inspect, disposition and final inspect components, modules and Line Replaceable Units.

Perform incoming inspection of material from customers and suppliers.

Set up and use precision measuring instruments to check tolerances dimensions and dimensional relationships.
Set up and operate coordinate measuring machines is a plus.

Candidate must have sufficient practical experience to qualify for and perform the duties at a minimum Level 2 Liquid Penetrant, Level 1 Eddy Current and Level 2 Magnetic Particle in accordance with NAS410 Certification & Qualification of Nondestructive Test Personnel.

Must have working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station regulations and hold a certificate in accordance with 14 CFR part 65 Subpart D (Mechanic) or meet the eligibility requirements of 14 CFR part 65 Subpart E (Repairmen).

Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances is required.
