Job Description Summary: Goodrich Aerostructures Group, Chula Vista is currently seeking an Associate Project Engineer (Entry Level Position) to work in our P&PD (Product & Process Development) group, ideally exposed through school or internships to traditional fundamentals and modern, computer-based analysis tools, with an eagerness to learn new technologies. Joining our diverse and highly accomplished engineering team, you'll work alongside some of the most exceptional professionals in the industry as you engage in complex, cutting-edge projects throughout their life cycle. The Associate Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating technical activities, including the flow / scheduling of necessary technical data and documentation that support design schedules and design reviews as well as prepare and present technical presentations. The responsibilities of the Assoiciate Project Engineer will be to support the Component Design Leads in maintaining the current technical data key to our product design. He/She will coordinate design, stress analysis, manufacturing and procurement activities in support of program objectives utilizing visual management tools such as MS Project. Duties will entail communicating with the PDT (Product Development Team) lead, the Designers, and Stress engineers to capture all current and future design changes and the associated weight impacts. The Associate Project Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining crital data in the form of comphrehensive spreadsheets. Basic Qualifications: .Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 0-1 year relevant experience. (New Graduates Welcome) .Ability to work in a diverse engineering environment that promotes teamwork to accomplish tasks. .Strong PC Skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Particularly MS Project. .Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills are essential for this position. .Current US Citizen or Green Card Holder required for this position. % Travel Required: < 10%
